 Some Thoughts About Methodology
In the next months we will publish a couple of papers on our research about organometallic couplings. Even if they are not accepted, these papers are clearly in the field of methodology, as opposed to those papers aimed to the synthesis of a single target. There are clear differences between both types of papers and this time we would like to share with you our views on those works developing new methodology.

Review of the month : Libraries survey
Some things take their time. In this case, the thing is an extensive survey of the medicinal chemistry libraries published in 2008, classified by targets, categories and others. The review includes tables with polymer-supported reagents, scavengers and linkers in the fluorous and non-flourous categories. The "Comprehensive Survey of Chemical Libraries for Drug Discovery and Chemical Biology: 2008", by Dolle et al. is specially recommend for medicinal chemists.

Our services : New Products on Catalog
In the previous issue we have presented a paper on the functionalization of arylboronic acids using 2-(1H-Pyrazol-5-yl)aniline as directing group. This compound was not commercially available and had to be prepared. In order to save time to our medicinal chemists, we have included this compound in our catalog. See other novelties and offers for other products in catalog.
